An independent artist studio programme, Onehunga Studios is located in the former Helena Rubinstein premises in Onehunga, above Gow Langsford Gallery. Studio spaces are awarded through a competitive application and interview process and are offered at a heavily subsidised rate, made possible through the generosity of our patrons. Artists contribute a small weekly fee.

Our aim is to remove some of the practical barriers that can prevent talented artists from doing their best work. Successful applicants are offered a minimum six-month residency, with the option to extend their tenancy for up to twelve months. Power, water, and WiFi are included.
